Abstract
Poverty can hinder children's growth and development, characterized by deprivation in the dimensions of children's basic needs such as education, health, protection, and nutrition. Low child quality will burden human resource development in the future. Children are part of the household, so child poverty is often associated with household characteristics. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing poverty in early childhood aged 3-6 years in Java using binary logit regression. The results show that the child's age, age of the household head, number of household members, gender of the household head, education of the household head, mother's education, household expenditure, area of residence, and social protection are statistically significant and influence early childhood poverty in Java.
