INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME

ACCOUNTING

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Airlangga offers the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) in Accounting (IUP in Accounting). FEB Universitas Airlangga was founded officially in 1961 through the Minister of Higher Education and Science Decree No. 31/1961. However, its origin can be traced back to 1954. Considering its long history, FEB Universitas Airlangga is, therefore, one of the oldest Faculty of Economics and Business in Indonesia. Moreover, as the assurance of its high quality, it has received national and international recognition through several accreditations.

IUP in Accounting provides cutting-edge knowledge and skills needed for anyone who has an aspiration to have careers in public and private companies, government, businesses and industries, universities, and not-for-profit institutions. As accounting knowledge and skills are needed in all types of organizations, companies, and institutions, the employment opportunities for accounting graduates are numerous.

Objectives

The program objectives are to produce accounting graduates who:

  • have a deep understanding of conceptual knowledge and applicative skills in the accounting field.
  • have critical, analytical, and systematic thought and skills.
  • can apply their knowledge and skills morally and ethically.

Information

Academic Rules

Students in the IUP FEB UNAIR will study in an international environment, with internationally standardized facilities and be taught by lecturers with intense international experience. The international experience of the lecturers in IUP FEB UNAIR manifests in several ways, such as extensive international collaboration, graduating from universities abroad, or having international recognition.

The IUP FEB UNAIR determines to make students in the IUP FEB UNAIR program get as much international exposure as possible. Besides the international environment in the program, students are also required to take at least one of the following international exposures: a one-semester exchange program, a dual degree program, or an outbound abroad in one of the partner universities.
