(FEB NEWS) SURABAYA – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) received a benchmarking visit from the School of Management and Sustainable Health (SMKB) of Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya (UNUSA) on Monday (15/6/2026) in the ABC Leadership Meeting Room of FEB UNAIR.
The UNUSA delegation was led by the Dean of SMKB UNUSA, Dr. Handayani, dr., M.Kes., together with the UNUSA School of Management and Sustainable Health (SMKB) Team: Vice Dean – Dr. Reizano Amri Rasyid, ST, MMT, Head of the Master of Management Study Program Dr. Nuzulul Fatimah, SE, MM, and Master of Management lecturer Dr. Dwi Novitasari, SE, MM.
The arrival of the group was welcomed by the Vice Dean I of FEB UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Tika Widiastuti, SE, M.Si., along with the Head of the Management Department Dr. Yetty Dwi Lestari, SE, MT, Coordinator of the Master of Management Study Program Dr. Masmira Kurniawati, SE, M.Si., Coordinator of the Master of Management Science Study Program Rahmat Heru Setianto, SE, M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of the Quality Assurance Unit Prof. Dr. Indrianawati Usman, SE, M.Sc., and Ida Wijayanti, S.EI., MSEI. as staff of the Vice Dean I.
The event took place in a warm and collaborative atmosphere. During the event, the two institutions discussed various aspects of educational management in the Master of Management Program at FEB UNAIR, including program governance, curriculum development, quality assurance systems, academic management, and strategies for improving educational quality and graduate competitiveness.
Benchmarking activities are an important means for universities to share good practices and strengthen collaborative networks in the development of higher education.
Through this activity, the two institutions hope to strengthen synergies and open up opportunities for broader collaboration in education, research, and community service. The outcomes of the discussions are expected to provide strategic input to support the sustainable improvement of higher education governance.
This benchmarking activity supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 4: Quality Education. Through the exchange of best practices in study program management, quality assurance, and curriculum development, FEB UNAIR and UNUSA strive to improve the quality of higher education to be inclusive, relevant, and competitive. Inter-institutional collaboration is also a strategic step in strengthening academic capacity and producing graduates capable of meeting the challenges of the professional world and societal needs.
