A number of Management lecturers from Semen Indonesia International University (UISI), invited the Head of MM FEB Unair, Dr. Gancar C. Premananto, to discuss Research Methods for 2 days (January 23-24, 2017). Materials ranging from philosophy to quantitative and qualitative techniques were presented and discussed in the event.
Including various misconceptions in quantitative methods also became an exciting discussion.
The Head of MM FEB Unair even raised the issue of spirituality in carrying out methods. Among them, the meta-goal of research activities is a form of seeking a way to find and reach God. That past experts such as Albert Einstein, Louis Pasteur, Galileo Galelei etc., have found that the knowledge they obtained ultimately shows the existence of God behind all matter. That the journey of doing research is also a religious journey.

The event, which took place at both UISI and MM FEB Unair, concluded with enthusiasm for conducting more and better research and mentoring. Plans for regular meetings were even proposed to share current ideas, including research.
