
(FEB NEWS) The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) received a socialization visit from the Alumni Career and Impact Center (PKKA) Universitas Airlangga in the context of the 2025 Tracer Study Dissemination, led by the Head of PKKA UNAIR – Prof. Dr. Nisful Laila SE., M.Com. on Tuesday (27/1/2026). This activity took place in the Leadership Meeting Room (Rapim) of the ABC Lobby of FEB UNAIR.
The socialization visit was welcomed by the Vice Dean I of FEB UNAIR – Prof. Dr. Tika Widiastuti, SE., M.Si., along with the team: Coordinator of Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty Ambassador of Graduate Quality and Employer Reputation, Head and Secretary of the Competency, Career, and Alumni Impact Unit, and the Student Affairs Sub-Division of FEB UNAIR. The activity became a strategic forum to align understanding regarding the role of the faculty in supporting the improvement of graduate quality and the reputation Universitas Airlangga.
Strengthening the Role of FEB UNAIR in Tracer Studies and Institutional Reputation
During the socialization, PKKA UNAIR outlined the university's main performance targets directly related to national and international rankings, including indicators from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and the QS World University Rankings. Several indicators of shared concern include Alumni Impact, Employer Reputation, and the Graduate and Alumni Index.
Employer Reputation contributed 15 percent to the QS rankings and was heavily influenced by tracer study results and user assessments of graduates. Meanwhile, Alumni Impact contributed 20 percent, emphasizing the importance of FEB UNAIR alumni's track record in making a real impact in the workplace, entrepreneurship, and society.
In addition, UNAIR targets 80 percent of graduates to be employed, become entrepreneurs, or continue their studies within less than six months after graduation, with an income of at least 1.2 times the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP), in line with the Key Performance Indicator (IKU) 2 policy.
Synergy between FEB UNAIR and PKKA UNAIR in Alumni Career Development
Through this activity, FEB UNAIR is expected to play a more active role in supporting tracer study data management, strengthening industrial partner networks, and documenting alumni achievements and contributions. Synergy between the faculty and PKKA is key to improving graduate competitiveness, the quality of alumni career development, and Universitas Airlangga reputation at the national and global levels.
This socialization visit affirmed FEB UNAIR's commitment to continue supporting efforts to improve the quality of higher education that are oriented towards graduate outcomes and the impact of alumni in a sustainable manner.
