


(FEB NEWS) On Saturday, November 15, 2025, three FEB UNAIR students who are members of the Bargin Power Team officially received an award as the National 3rd Place Winner in the AgriFest 2025 Business Plan Competition. The award was given in an awarding event organized by the Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agribusiness, Universitas Brawijaya, marking a proud achievement for the team consisting of Muhammad Maulana, Nur Sofwatun Nisak, and Fransisca Andini. This achievement is a testament to the ability of FEB UNAIR students to compete at the national level and present innovative solutions for the development of agricultural businesses.
The prestigious competition selected over 120 teams from various leading universities in Indonesia, including ITS, UB, UI, and UGM, before selecting the top 20 finalists to advance to the final round. The entire judging process was conducted by academics and professional practitioners, including lecturers from the Faculty of Agriculture at Brawijaya University, investors and MSMEs with several branches in Malang City, and judges with financial backgrounds.
The final round of AgriFest 2025 will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, and will conclude with an award ceremony on Saturday, November 15, 2025, held directly at the Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University.
The competition began with proposal development and the development of a Business Model Canvas (BMC) related to innovative ideas in the field of agricultural business development. Of all the participants, only three teams emerged victorious, including Team Bargin Power from FEB UNAIR.
For participants, AgriFest is more than just an academic competition. According to Maulana, AgriFest 2025 is a strategic event that connects the world of education with the agricultural business industry. Through an exclusive collaboration with the Agribusiness Department of Brawijaya University, this competition encourages students to explore their analytical potential, think strategically, and create innovative solutions to real-world business challenges in the agricultural sector.
"This competition provides an opportunity for us to demonstrate our analytical skills and develop concrete, relevant solutions for the business world. Furthermore, we are proud to represent Universitas Airlangga in competing with other leading universities such as ITS, UB, UI, and UGM," said Maulana.
The Bargin Power team concluded their journey with the motto they consistently upheld throughout the competition:
“If not now, when? If not us, then who?”
This achievement is expected to inspire other FEB UNAIR students to continue working, competing, and contributing to the nation’s progress through impactful innovation.
