The Islamic Economics Student Association (HIMA Ekis) of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga once again held the 2026 Company Visit External program with the theme "Charting New Paths: Career and Industry Insights in Islamic Finance." This activity is an annual program designed to bridge the academic world and the world of work for Islamic Economics students. Through this program, students are encouraged not only to understand the theories learned in class but also to gain a real picture of how the Islamic finance industry operates in the field. Amidst increasingly fierce competition in the world of work, activities like this are becoming increasingly important as provisions for students before entering the professional world. The Company Visit External is present as one of HIMA Ekis's real efforts in preparing Islamic Economics students to become competent and competitive professionals.

This year's event will give participants the opportunity to visit two leading financial institutions in one day. Through a series of events, including a talk show session with experienced practitioners and a company tour, students are expected to gain real-world insights into the dynamics of the Islamic finance industry. The talk show session is designed to be interactive, allowing participants to directly engage in discussions and ask questions of the practitioners in attendance. Meanwhile, the company tour session provides participants with the opportunity to experience firsthand the work environment and operations of the institutions they visit. The combination of these two sessions is expected to help students identify relevant career opportunities and build greater professional preparedness before entering the workforce.
