Center of Islamic Social Finance Intelligence (CISFI)

The Center of Islamic Social Finance Intelligence (CISFI) is a research group at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, dedicated to advancing Islamic Social Finance through research on zakat, waqf, Islamic microfinance, and innovative financing models. CISFI integrates rigorous academic research with policy-oriented solutions to strengthen sustainable and inclusive Islamic social finance ecosystems. Its research has been disseminated through internationally reputable journals and strategic funded projects, including collaborations with Bank Indonesia on national waqf transformation and the British Council on financing disability inclusion in higher education. CISFI also fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and develops evidence-based policy recommendations.
