Bayu Arie Fianto, Ph.D.

Bayu Arie Fianto, Ph.D. is a lecturer in the Department of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University, with expertise in Islamic finance, Islamic banking, Islamic microfinance, and Islamic economics. He earned his Bachelor of Economics degree from Brawijaya University in 2007, then completed the Master of Business Administration program at the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2010. Furthermore, he earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Lincoln University in 2018. During his career as an academic, he has produced more than 55 scientific publications and actively developed research focused on Islamic finance, Islamic banking, Islamic microfinance, Islamic economics, and Islamic economics. In addition to carrying out educational, research, and community service activities, he is also active as a member of the Islamic Economics Community (MES).
