Center for Halal Business and Digitalization (CHBD)

Center for Halal Business and Digitalization (CHBD) was established as FEB UNAIR's contribution to accelerating the growth of Indonesia's halal economy, carrying the theme Integrated Halal Behaviour: Production until Consumption Based on Digitalization, which covers the halal supply chain through to consumption (food, tourism, hotels, hospitals, fashion), extending further into the banking, finance, and Islamic accounting sectors. CHBD has produced publications in national Sinta 1–2 journals and internationally reputable Scopus-indexed journals ranging from Q4 to Q1 Top Tier, secured international grants through matching grants and research collaborations with overseas universities, published Scopus-indexed books and proceedings, served as Research Fellows abroad, co-hosted international conferences in Malaysia and Thailand, and actively conducted community service programs across various regions of Indonesia.
