Overview
This course discusses, among other things, why and how Hinduism is taught in higher education; how to understand the history of the development of Hinduism; how humans believe in and understand God; understanding the Vedas as a source of Hindu law; how to build ethics and morality in life; how Hinduism builds unity in diversity; how Hinduism faces the challenges of modernization and the development of science and technology; how Hinduism contributes to the development of world civilization; the role and function of local culture and the development of Hindu culture; how Hinduism fulfills its obligations as part of the Indonesian nation; the challenges faced by Hindus in facing the National Moral Crisis, the Crisis of Role Models, and the Crisis of Identity; and the Ability to Read the Vedas.
