Center for Innovative Islamic Finance and Investment (CIIFI) is a research group under the Department of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, that focuses on innovation in Islamic finance and investment, covering the development of Islamic banking products, Islamic capital markets, sukuk, Islamic fintech, and investment models aligned with the principles of maqasid sharia. The group seeks to drive the growth of Indonesia's Islamic finance industry through product innovation and business models that are adaptive to global financial technology developments. Supported by academics with expertise in Islamic economics and finance, including holders of the Certified Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP) credential, CIIFI consistently produces research relevant to the development of Islamic finance industry policies and practices at both the national and international levels.
