(FEB NEWS) The Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga with the National University of Singapore recently embarked on a collaborative journey highlighting our commitment to nurturing forward-thinking leaders. This was brought to life in our latest student exchange program, meticulously organized by the International Office FEB UNAIR, in association with the Islamic Economics, Economics, Accounting, and Management Departments. This program emphasized the intrinsic connection between sustainable business practices and societal growth.
Our immersive journey took us to the heart of Brenjonk Organic Village, a community known for its sustainable living and eco-friendly business practices. Our students, along with attendees from the National University of Singapore, gained invaluable insights into the role of businesses in fostering a sustainable environment and society. We had the pleasure of engaging with Bapak Slamet, a representative from Brenjonk Organic Village, who enlightened us about their commitment to the triple bottom line - people, planet, and profit. This provided us with a deeper understanding of how businesses can prosper while positively influencing society and the environment.
Through this exchange program, we strived to demonstrate our steadfast belief in the transformative potential of sustainability and culture in the world of business. At FEB UNAIR, we aim to mould future leaders who recognize the importance of sustainable business practices for our collective future. We believe in the harmonious blend of sustainability and culture as a path towards a more equitable world. We eagerly look forward to continuing our leadership, sustainability, and culture journey.
