Bank Indonesia Institute One Day Series

(FEB NEWS) Tuesday, June 7, 2022, the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) in collaboration with the Bank Indonesia Institute (BINS) – Bank Indonesia, held the Bank Indonesia Institute One Day Series event, where in 1 (one) day, 3 (three) activities were carried out simultaneously, namely: 

1. Public Lecture by Prof. Iwan Jaya Aziz - Professor of Emerging Markets Within 

    The Dyson School Of Applied Economics And Management At Cornell University – USA

2. Dissemination of Research Results by: 

    a.). Dr. Fiskara Indawan, SE., MA. – Economist BINS – Bank Indonesia; 

    b.) Arnita Rishanty, ST., MSc., Ph.D – Researcher – BI; 

   c.) Sekar Utami S., SE., MSc., Ph.D. – Head of Economics – FEB UGM, 

3. Promotion of BMEB, JIMF, and JCLI Journals, by Alfatika A. Dini, SH., M.Kn., Ph.D. – 

    Co-Managing Editor At JCLI – BINS ; And 

4 Research Clinic (Offline). 

The event was held from the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd Floor, Feb Unair.

 

The objectives of this event are: 1. To strengthen the existing partnership between the Bank Indonesia Institute and FEB UNAIR, particularly in the field of central banking; 2. To disseminate research results and various programs carried out by Bank Indonesia. These objectives are, of course, very much in line with the vision of both Bank Indonesia and FEB UNAIR, namely to strengthen world-class learning and research, both in the fields of economics and central banking. 

 

Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA. was very happy and welcomed the event, and introduced 10 journals published by FEB UNAIR, which have been indexed by Sinta 4 to those that have been indexed by Scopus. Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, also invited all students to submit research results, according to their respective student's knowledge, and also cite each other's journals, both published by the BI Institute and by FEB UNAIR. At the end of his remarks, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA. also hoped that together with Bank Indonesia, especially the BI Institute, to continue contributing to the Indonesian Nation and State, by strengthening collaboration/synergy to produce quality graduates.

The event, which was held in a hybrid format, was attended by approximately: 1.) 268 online audience members, consisting of lecturers and students from undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. They were not only from FEB UNAIR, but also from other universities around Surabaya. 2.) 100 offline audience members, including students from FEB UNAIR, Faculty of Law UNAIR, and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UNAIR.

The event was very interesting, and was attended by students and lecturers with great enthusiasm, because starting from the Guest Lecture Session, Dissemination of Research Results, and also Promotion of BMEB, JIMF, and JCLI Journals, the audience, both offline and online, did not stop asking many questions.
