Prof. Dr. Rudi Purwono

Prof. Dr. Rudi Purwono is a Professor of Monetary Economics and Banking at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University. He earned his Bachelor of Economics degree from Airlangga University in 1994, his Master of Science in Economics from the University of Indonesia in 2004, and his Doctorate in Economics from the University of Indonesia in 2009. He has published 43 international scientific articles indexed by Scopus and many other national research articles, and consistently develops research in the fields of Monetary Economics and Banking, Development Economics, Trade Economics, and Industrial Economics. In addition to being active in education and research, he is also a member of the Indonesian Economists Association (ISEI) and the National Social Security Council (DJSN) of the Republic of Indonesia.
