COIN (Center of Information) is one of the flagship programs of the Science Department Universitas Airlangga Student Executive Board (BEM FEB), which focuses on serving as a center for strategic information dissemination. This program utilizes Instagram as the primary medium for sharing various important information, ranging from academic competitions, student exchange programs, to other curated self-development opportunities. The content presented includes not only national and international competitions but also various opportunities for academic capacity building and forms of appreciation for student achievement. Thus, COIN is expected to encourage students to more actively participate in activities that support comprehensive competency development.
Furthermore, COIN also plays a role in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the following areas. For SDG 4: Quality Education, COIN contributes by providing accessible and inclusive information, thereby increasing student awareness and participation in various development opportunities, both academic and non-academic. This effort is expected to open wider access to quality education through various available programs and competitions.
Meanwhile, regarding SDG 17: Partnerships to Achieve the Goals, COIN actively builds collaborations with various parties. This collaboration is carried out both with external partners, such as competition organizers and student exchange programs, and with internal parties such as student associations and the FEB UNAIR academic community. This synergy is key to expanding information distribution while also recognizing student achievements, thus creating a more collaborative and sustainable academic ecosystem.
By upholding the values of collaboration and usefulness, COIN not only functions as an information medium, but also becomes a driver of student involvement in creating a more inclusive and impactful future of education.
