CAREER WEEK 2026

           Career Week is a program of the Professional Development Department of the Student Executive Board (BEM FEB) Universitas Airlangga , focusing on improving students' readiness for the world of work. This activity is designed to provide students with a more comprehensive understanding of the professional world and develop the skills needed for career preparation. Career Week 2026 serves as a strategic space that bridges the academic and professional worlds through a series of structured, collaborative, and career-oriented activities. Through a series of integrated activities, it is hoped that it will provide students with real-world experiences in understanding the professional world.

      In the pre-event, there is a Pengprof Talkshow Vol. 1 activity which is a work program of the Department of Professional Development with the aim of providing knowledge and insight to FEB Universitas Airlangga regarding professional preparation as provisions for the post-campus world. In addition, Company Visit to two selected companies which provide opportunities for participants to get to know firsthand the work environment, company culture, and a real picture of the industrial world. At the main event of Career Week 2026, a series of activities will be held including a Job Fair, Walk in Interview, CV Review, and Talkshow which will be held simultaneously by presenting approximately 18 companies. This activity will last for two days and take place in the Fadjar Notonegoro Hall and Soepoyo Hall.

           Through this series of activities, participants not only obtain information related to job and internship opportunities through the Job Fair, but also get the opportunity to participate in the recruitment process directly through the Walk in Interview. In addition, participants can improve the quality of application documents through CV Review and gain insight and insight into the world of work through the Talkshow. Thus, all sub-activities in this main event are integrated in providing a comprehensive experience for participants in preparing themselves to face the world of work. Thus, participants not only obtain information related to career opportunities, but also gain direct experience in the recruitment process, improve personal branding, and expand their professional network.

              Career Week 2026 was held as an effort to bridge the needs between students as job seekers and companies as job providers. Through this activity, it is hoped that students will be able to prepare themselves more thoroughly, recognize their potential, and increase their competitiveness in the world of work. This activity not only serves as a means of finding career opportunities, but also serves as a practical learning platform for students to understand the dynamics of the professional world directly. Through a series of integrated activities, participants are encouraged to hone their communication skills, build their personal branding, and increase their confidence in facing the recruitment process. Career Week 2026 is also expected to be a momentum for students to be more proactive in planning and developing their career paths from an early age. With direct access to industry information and the opportunity to interact with professional practitioners, students can gain a broader perspective in determining career choices that align with their interests and competencies.

This activity is also in line with the objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically point 4, namely Quality Education through improving the quality of education based on the development of soft skills and student career readiness. In addition, Career Week 2026 also supports point 8, namely Decent Work and Economic Growth by facilitating access to job opportunities and improving the readiness of the young workforce. Furthermore, this activity also contributes to point 17, namely Partnerships for the Goals through collaboration between students, educational institutions, and various companies in supporting the career development of the younger generation.

            Thus, the Career Week 2026 program is expected to be an effective tool in helping FEB Universitas Airlangga better prepare for the world of work and adapt to future industry demands. It also serves as a concrete step in equipping students with thorough readiness to enter the workforce, in terms of knowledge, skills, and experience. Through collaboration between students, educational institutions, and companies, this activity is expected to create sustainable synergy in supporting the career development of a competent, adaptive, and competitive young generation.
