Abstract

As a BUMN Dutch heritage company located in the countryside, the cultural culture of feudal and aristocrats is still thick in all business activities of the Semboro Sugar Factory - PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XI (Persero). With the background of the implementation of the performance appraisal of Group I - II (implementing) employee performance in the Semboro Sugar Factory Installation Section, this descriptive analytical qualitative research aims to evaluate the current employee performance appraisal to compile a key performance indicator (KPI) for permanent employees mechanical group I - II PG Installation Section. Semboro. The results of evaluating the current implementing employee performance appraisal are using blanks (trait system methods) and ranking systems (comparison system methods precisely paired comparisons). There are several shortcomings, as well as some advantages in the system. This has resulted in the not reflected true performance from the Ratee. However, almost the majority of Rater wants every rate to have KPIs that are in harmony with the company's target. With the Goal Oriented System method produced KPI is in the form of: 1) Frequency of engine damage, 2) stop hours station, 3) time to complete engine repair before the ground, and also 4) attendance (discipline). By implementing the results of this study, it is expected that the Performance of the Permanent Employees of Mechanical Employees Group I - II in the Semboro Sugar Factory Installation Section, can be more effective and make the company's strategic objectives that are usually still running away for implementing employees, becoming more concrete so as to speed up the learning process of the organization.
