Surabaya, August 17, 2025 has been held Management E-Sport Competition 2025 (MESC 2025), a prestigious E-Sport competition organized by the Sport and Art Division of Hima S1 Management Universitas Airlangga, has been successfully implemented. This year, MESC presents two branches of competition, namely EAFC25 and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with the theme "Throne of the Desert" inspired by the film Dune. MESC 2025 collaborates with various Student Activity Units (UKM), organizations, Student Associations (HIMA), and Student Executive Boards (BEM) from the Faculty of Universitas Airlangga, such as Hima Islamic Economics, UKM E-Sport Unair, WEBS, and BEM Vocational. The majority of competition participants came from Surabaya students, but registration was also opened for high school students, making this competition an inclusive event for various groups. A total of 99 participants competed in two branches of the competition, namely: 75 participants for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, divided into 15 teams (5 members each) 24 participants for EAFC25 individually The competition lasted for three days with a tight and exciting schedule. The first day was used for the Mobile Legends preliminary round until 4 teams remained for the semifinals. The second day began with the EAFC25 group stage which selected the top 3 from each group to advance to the elimination round, which was then followed by 12 participants until the final round. On the last day, the semifinals and finals of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang were held live (offline) at Moments Cafe and Space, which was also the sponsor of the event, after previously the preliminary round was held online until the top 8 round. Meanwhile, the EAFC25 competition was held at Boost Lounge Gaming, located on Jl. Sriwijaya No.30, Keputran, Surabaya, which is strategic and easily accessible to participants from various areas of Surabaya. The Mobile Legends semifinal and final events ran smoothly with a special tournament room system for participants who qualified for the semifinals, followed by the third place match and the final round. The activity ended with the distribution of certificates and a photo session with the winners. Through this event, it is hoped that participants can hone their skills, expand their networks, and achieve success in the world of E-Sports which promises a promising future.
