Kopmeb Internal Competition 2024 is one of the superior work programs of the Research and Development (RnD) Division of the FEB Universitas Airlangga Student Cooperative. This event is designed to increase the knowledge and understanding of KOPMEB administrators in the field of cooperatives. With the theme "Cooperative Transformation: Innovation and Digitalization as Creative Economy Development", this competition aims to encourage the emergence of innovation among KOPMEB administrators in the era of digitalization in order to create a creative economy. One of the main focuses in the Kopmeb Internal Competition 2024 is the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 9 and SDG 17. SDG 9 focuses on building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and encouraging innovation. In this context, this competition invites administrators to adopt technology and innovation to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of cooperative management.
This internal competition consists of two main categories: Cooperative Olympiad and Business Model Canvas (BMC). This event was attended by a total of 17 teams consisting of members of the FEB Unair cooperative. In the Cooperative Olympiad, participants compete with each other for their knowledge and understanding of various aspects of cooperatives. Meanwhile, in the BMC competition, participants are challenged to develop innovative business models that can be applied in cooperative management. During the competition, participants explored the use of digital systems for cooperative management and marketing. By utilizing the latest technology, it is hoped that cooperatives can increase their competitiveness and provide better services to their members. This digital transformation not only increases operational efficiency, but also supports the development of more modern and sustainable infrastructure.
Apart from that, the implementation of SDG 17 is also an important agenda in the Kopmeb Internal Competition 2024. This competition encourages strong partnerships between participants, where they learn from each other and develop together. By strengthening networks and collaboration, participants can create positive synergies that open up opportunities for future collaboration. This is a concrete example of effective collaboration, where administrators exchange experience and knowledge to improve cooperative performance. By holding the Kopmeb Internal Competition 2024, it is hoped that it will encourage the emergence of innovation among KOPMEB administrators in the era of digitalization. This competition not only provides direct benefits for participants, but also shows KOPMEB's commitment to supporting the achievement of SDGs through innovation and strategic partnerships. It is hoped that the transformation of cooperatives through innovation and digitalization can encourage the creation of a sustainable and inclusive creative economy.
It is hoped that after this activity, KOPMEB FEB Unair can strengthen good relations and cooperation between members and be able to apply new insights gained for the progress of the cooperative in the future.
