(FEB NEWS) Surabaya, 21 October 2024 – Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) attended the invitation of the East Java Regional Committee for Sharia Economics and Finance (KDEKS) to release 24 students of the Islamic Economics Undergraduate Study Program who will undergo the Independent Campus Learning Internship Program Merdeka (MBKM) First Batch, for one semester at the KDEKS Surabaya Office. This event was held in the Samadikoen Meeting Room, Economic Bureau, 3rd Floor, Jalan Pahlawan No. 110, Surabaya.
Present from FEB UNAIR, Dr. Wisnu Wibowo - Deputy Dean 1 Feb Unair and Dian Filianti, SE, M.acc., Secretary of the Islamic Economics Study Program, and 24 Internship Students. Meanwhile, the Kdex was represented by a number of leaders, including Prof. Dr. Muhamad Nafik Hadi Ryandono, SE., M.Sc. As Deputy Executive Director 1 of East Java Kdex, Prof. Drs. Ec. Abdul Mongid, MA, Ph.D. As Deputy Executive Director 2 of East Java Kdex, and Dr. Hj. Siti Nur Husnul Yusmiati, S.TP., M.Kes. - Head of the Halal Industry Division, Dr. Drs. H. Husnul Khuluq, MM - Sharia Social Finance Director; Dr. Bayu Arie Fianto, SE., MBA., Ph.D. - Kadiv. Sharia social finances and several other important officials.
On this occasion, Dr. Wisnu, Deputy Dean 1 of FEB Unair, expressed his gratitude to the Kdex for the opportunities given to FEB students to learn and hone skills in the world of work. "We leave students for one semester in Kdex so that they can learn in theory and practice, as well as develop hard skills and soft skills that are in accordance with the profile of Islamic economics graduates," said Dr. Vishnu. He also advised students to maintain ethics and focus while undergoing this internship program.
From KDEKS, a warm welcome was given by Prof. Dr. Muhamad Nafik Hadi Ryandono, SE., M.Si., who emphasized the importance of discipline, creativity and courage in facing the world of work. Apart from that, Dr. Drs. H. Husnul Khuluq, MM, Director of Sharia Social Finance at KDEKS, hopes that this collaboration between FEB UNAIR and KDEKS can continue and be improved in the future.
This internship program is expected to be able to prepare FEB UNAIR students to be ready to face challenges in the world of work after completing their education, as well as to become young people who contribute to strengthening the sharia economy for the benefit of the people.
