Introduction to Management

Introduction to Management is a foundational course in the Faculty of Economics and Business that is compulsory for students in both Accounting and Management programs. This course provides an overview of the historical foundations of management, managing the new workplace environment, organizational environment and culture, managing the global environment, organizational planning, goal setting and strategy formulation, managerial decision-making, the fundamentals of organizing, human resource management, the foundations of organizational behavior and motivation, and the controlling function within organizations.
