Operation Strategy

Business strategy will develop dynamically. Operations strategy is a key contributor to business strategy. This course provides students with an understanding of the principles and long-term issues related to operations strategy, and the evolving role of operations strategy as a strategic reconciler. Consequently, the operations function, as an integral part of the supply chain in a business, is also required to be increasingly dynamic to anticipate these issues, such as ensuring the availability of product supplies in each country. The ability to design and produce a wide variety of products for several countries with diverse consumption patterns and cultures, capacity strategy decisions, process technology, product and service development, and the development of sustainable operations strategies.
