Overview

The Dissertation 1 (Proposal Examination) course aims to evaluate the research design proposed by students. The evaluation covers various important aspects, namely: the background or urgency of the research, the relevance of the topic, the objectives and research questions, the suitability of the theory and literature review in developing the research model, originality and innovation, and the suitability and currency of the analytical methods used. Furthermore, the quality and relevance of the references supporting the proposal are also part of the assessment. The assessment is carried out comprehensively to measure the feasibility and overall quality of the research proposal prepared by the student, as well as to ensure that the proposal meets applicable academic standards.
