Trade Economics

This course examines international trade theory and policy and its application in global and domestic contexts. Students will examine various trade policy instruments, the dynamics of the political economy of trade, trade challenges in developing countries, digital trade, sustainable trade, regional integration, the role of multilateral institutions, and global trade policy analysis. Through case analysis, discussions, and the preparation of papers, students are expected to develop critical, analytical, and argumentative thinking skills, as well as academic skills in writing and presenting research findings related to international trade issues.
