Public Economics and Regional Finance

The Public Economics and Regional Finance course is designed to apply the basic knowledge of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics that has been studied, and relate it to current public economic and regional financial issues. Students are expected to be able to integrate Macroeconomic and Microeconomic concepts, use quantitative methods and relate them to micro data (IFLS, Susenas, Sakernas, Riskesdas, and Podes) to examine issues in public economics such as indicators of fiscal independence, welfare, inequality, poverty and other social problems.
