Philosophy of Economics

The philosophy of economics is a branch of action theory, ethics (or social and political philosophy), and the philosophy of science. The philosophy of economics focuses on (a) rational choice, (b) the assessment of economic outcomes, (c) the ontology of economic phenomena, and the knowledge that can be derived from these.
