Overview

This course equips students to study the economics and management of zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf (ZISWAF) in macroeconomic, microeconomic, and development contexts. Topics include the roles of zakat and waqf in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and economic development; their position within Islamic financial institutions; and the regulation and institutional management of zakat and waqf.
