Philosophy of Islamic Economics

This course provides students with knowledge, understanding, and analytical perspectives on the philosophy of Islamic economics. It begins with discussions of:

1. The historical development of science.
2. The relationship between philosophy and science.
3. Science and the philosophy of science.
4. The role of the philosophy of science in scientific development.
5. The foundations of scientific inquiry: ontology, epistemology, and axiology.
6. Scientific methods of thinking.
7. The concept of truth.
8. The relationship among philosophy, science and technology, and culture.
9. The role of religion in science and philosophy.

Throughout the course, the philosophy of science is examined from an Islamic perspective, with particular emphasis on Islamic economics.
