Overview
This course examines the specification, estimation, and use of econometric methods necessary to model the choices made by individuals, households, firms, and so on. Situations where data are available in both cross-sectional and panel data formats will be discussed. Particular emphasis will be placed on illustrating the appropriate use of data and the application of related models through case studies drawn from economics. This course will equip students with the knowledge necessary to conduct research in specific areas of microeconometrics.
