Overview
This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of business management in a global context, by providing students with a comprehensive perspective on the dynamics of globalization and cross-border challenges. Topics covered include globalization issues, differences in political, economic, and cultural contexts, international trade and investment theory, foreign exchange markets, the global monetary system, and international capital markets. In addition, students will learn about international business strategies, global organizational structures, international market penetration strategies, business alliances, and the key functions of international business management. Through this course, students are expected to understand the basic concepts of globalization, apply theories of global trade and investment, and analyze and develop adaptive and competitive business strategies in a complex international business environment.
