Sharia Asset and Liability Management (**)

This course provides knowledge on the fundamentals of Asset and Liability Management (ALMA) in Islamic banks, including an understanding of the importance of implementing ALMA in Islamic banks, ALCO presentation techniques, pricing strategies for Islamic banking funding and financing products, and how to formulate policy recommendations related to ALMA. Throughout the course, students’ knowledge of ALMA practices in Islamic banks is assessed through a case-study-based group presentation assignment on the implementation of ALMA in Islamic banks in Indonesia.
