Overview

The Islamic Financial Accounting course covers the concepts and principles of accounting treatment, including the recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure of Islamic financial transactions in the Islamic business sector and Islamic social finance sector, in accordance with the characteristics of Islamic financial transactions and the Islamic financial accounting standards in effect in Indonesia. The ultimate learning objective is for students to be able to select, provide opinions on, and apply accounting treatments for Islamic financial transactions in both the Islamic business sector and the Islamic social finance sector, in accordance with the characteristics of Islamic financial transactions and the Islamic financial accounting standards applicable in Indonesia. The course material covers the basic concepts and principles of recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure of Islamic financial transactions, as well as the principles of accounting treatment for Islamic financial transactions based on sale and purchase, profit-sharing, leasing, Islamic securities, Islamic insurance, zakat collection, and waqf administration.
