Overview

This course is a foundational course that introduces beginning students to an understanding of macroeconomic theory. The main concepts and topics covered broadly include national income, the determination of national income in both closed and open economies, the concept of the multiplier, the basic concepts of aggregate demand and supply, unemployment and inflation, and theories of economic growth.
