UNAIR Accounting Student Wins 3rd Place in Sharia Economic Smart Olympiad

Another achievement made by Airlangga University students, on behalf of Moch. Bachrul UF (Accounting'15), Sholikudin Alawy (Islamic Economics'17), M. Suffian E. (Islamic Economics'17). in competition Sharia Economic Smart Olympiad organized by KSEI SES-C Bogor Agricultural University on 28-30 September 2018. This FEB UNAIR delegation managed to become the third winner in the event with the theme "The Role of Sharia Economics in Facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0".

The SESO event began with a seminar and technical meeting on September 28, 2018. On the following day, the competition began at the stage of working in groups and being careful. At that stage, only 3 teams passed to advance to the 2018 SESO finals. In the final stage, the participants presented the results of the case studies that had been determined by the committee. After completing the series of competitions, the SESO 2018 participants took part in a series of gala dinner events.

The next day, September 30 2018, the participants returned to the seminar as well as the event award or awarding prizes to winners.

The team's success cannot be separated from the support of the faculty such as Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., M.Sc., Ak. as dean, Dr. Rudi Purwono, SE., MSE. as Vice Dean 1 and all parties who cannot be mentioned one by one. This delegation team hopes that this victory will make us even more motivated to continue to make achievements.
