IMPROVE CAPITAL MARKET EDUCATION KSPM FEB UNAIR HOLDS A CAPITAL MARKET SCHOOL

GIBEI NEWS - The world of investment, especially stocks and mutual funds, is increasingly in demand by the wider community, therefore education from various elements of capital market institutions, investors, and practitioners needs to be encouraged and improved. One of them is by holding a Capital Market School (SPM) to provide a deeper understanding and knowledge of what the capital market is and the products in it.

The Capital Market Study Group (KSPM) FEB Unair as the organizer of the SPM event this time opened registration for seminar participants from all walks of life, including young and old. The SPM event this time was held on Saturday, May 04, 2019 at the Mindrowo Hall, Lt. 4 FEB Unair. The event started at 09.00 WIB with the opening of the two MCs, namely Purbo Raharjo and Metta and followed by the opening and remarks from the Chief Executive of SPM, namely Fary and Lecturer of Investment Management Mr. Rahmat Heru.

Not to forget the SPM organizing committee invited several professional and competent speakers, namely Mr. Dyan Fajar Mahardika as the Executive Trainer of the IDX East Java Representative Office to fill in session I, namely an introduction to the capital market and how to trade on the stock exchange and Mr. Edi Murdiono as Marketing Officer of Indo Premier Securities to fill the material for session II. The presentation of the material given by Mr. Fajar lasted approximately 100 minutes. It was seen that many participants were very enthusiastic in the presentation session of session I, by asking questions with very deep curiosity. One of the participants named Dionisius actively asked questions related to the mechanism of trading on the stock exchange. Participants who actively asked questions were given gifts by the organizing committee. After session I finished, the organizing committee also gave a plaque to Mr. Fajar as a sign of gratitude for being willing to be a speaker.

Then the activity continued with Ishoma (rest, prayer, and meal) at 11.35 – 12.35. There were also participants who rushed out to take food to eat and pray. After the ishoma session ended, enter the second material session given by Mr. Edi Murdiono about trading simulations in the Indo Premier application, how to order book and stock trading transactions, and don't forget to introduce the features in the IPOT application. The second material session also lasted for 100 minutes, followed by a question and answer session from the participants. In this session, participants who were active asked more questions than session I because they emphasized trading simulations and practice rather than theory.

We came to the end of the event, which was the giving of placards to Mr. Edi and also a photo with the entire committee with the speaker and also Mr. Rahmat Heru as an Investment Management Lecturer.
