
Surabaya, Wednesday, July 30 - Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) provides support for the implementation of the visitation conducted by the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) and in the context of monitoring and evaluation (monev) of the BPKH Hajj Scholarship Program on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. This activity is an initiative of BPKH to directly review the implementation of the scholarship program that has been distributed to 10 students of the Islamic Economics Undergraduate Program - Department of Sharia Economics FEB UNAIR.
The BPKH delegation present at the visit included the Chairman of the BPKH Supervisory Board, H. Firmansyah N. Nazaroedin, Ak., M.Sc., CA., ASEAN CPA; Head of Implementation and Monitoring of BPKH Welfare, Dr. Dyah Rahayu, SH, MH; Director of Waqf and CSR of Baitulmaal Muamalat (BMM), Galeh Pujonegoro, and the team.
Their presence was warmly welcomed by the leadership of FEB UNAIR. Vice Dean I of FEB UNAIR, Dr. Wisnu Wibowo, gave a warm welcome at the event, accompanied by the Secretary of the Department of Sharia Economics, Sulistya Rusgianto, SE, MIF., Ph.D., and Sunan Fanani, S.Ag., M.Pd.I. FEB UNAIR also facilitated a meeting between the BPKH group and the scholarship recipients as part of its commitment to supporting education-based welfare programs.
As an adaptive and collaborative higher education institution, FEB UNAIR views this visit as a way to strengthen the synergy between the educational institution and the community fund management institution. This program not only positively impacts scholarship recipients but also strengthens the reputation of both institutions in advancing higher education based on sharia values and social benefits.
