ABSTRACT

Most companies are realizing the importance of implementing the right CSR activities by accommodating the interests of stakeholders through social activities as the impact of their business operations. CSR is commonly used to get social licenses, build reputation, and create competitiveness. This activity also absorbs corporate resources, thus CSR as part of business processes should be clear in terms of performance measures. To maintain the existence of the company, Tjiwi Kimia tries to improve its CSR strategy from philanthropic activities and social assistance funds into a more planned, measurable and long-term beneficial program for all its stakeholders. This study explains how management designs CSR performance indicators based on stakeholder needs and company capability to generate strategies and processes to achieve them. This study uses the Performance Prism model as a performance measurement approach for key stakeholders such as communities, governments, customers, shareholders, NGOs, and the media. Measurements on CSR can be used as an evaluation instrument for the success of the program in accordance with the company's objectives.
