ABSTRACT
Many companies have expanded the idea of upward feedback toward the
360 degree feedback method (Dessler, 2003: 260). Different from traditional assessment methods, 360-degree assessments can collect data from multiple sources and provide a broad perspective on employee performance. Decenzo and Robbins (2002) have stated, studies on the effectiveness of a 360 degree performance appraisal show positive results. This happens because through the
360 degree feedback method has more accurate feedback and can reduce the subjective factors in the evaluation process.
PT Petrokimia Gresik as a company, in one mission is to improve business results to support the smooth operation and business development of the company, viewing Effectiveness and efficiency in managing the company is one of the most important things. As a form of performance management within the framework of the effectiveness and efficiency of human resource management, PT Petrokimia
Gresik already has an employee performance management system mechanism.
The objective of this research is to know how to apply 360 degree feedback method in performance management system at PT Petrokimia Gresik, to evaluate the application of 360 degree feedback method in performance management system at PT Petrokimia Gresik and to give recommendation application of 360 degree feedback method in system performance management at PT Petrokimia Gresik.
The application of 360 degree feedback method in PT Petrokimia Gresik as a whole has fulfilled the character of good system in applying 360 degree feedback method according to Aguinis (2013), but there are several factors that need to be improved as follows: Feedback Interpretation, Follow Up, Used for development purposes only.
