Abstract
The policy changes towards a world class university that occur are mandatory regulations so that students who agree or not must comply with these regulations. On the other hand, students make changing these regulations a burden and are reluctant to undertake them. This research examines the influence of variables that are able to influence students' commitment to change, with the aim of ensuring that students remain committed to changing regulations related to the obligation to publish. These variables are students' psychological contracts and students' academic resilience. The proposed hypothesis is tested using data originating from the survey. The respondents obtained were 100 respondents. The research results show that the psychological contract has a positive effect on academic resilience and commitment to change. Likewise, academic resilience has a positive effect on commitment to change. This means that to increase students' commitment to change, managers in higher education can instill a strong psychological contract and help students increase their academic resilience. This study will also test the mediating effect of student academic resilience, where academic resilience is an important thing that someone who is studying must have, and this is the novelty of this research.
