Abstract
Entrepreneurship is the driving force of a country's economy, including Indonesia. Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in fostering a more creative society. Although the Madiun City Government and Merdeka University have issued a policy package to encourage entrepreneurial intentions among students, the development of entrepreneurship in Madiun remains below expectations due to various obstacles faced by entrepreneurs in both developed and developing countries when starting and developing their businesses, such as parents' entrepreneurial role model performance, entrepreneurial barriers, and the university environment. In this study, Attitude toward Entrepreneurial Behavior was used as a basic framework for understanding entrepreneurial intentions. This study used 138 respondents obtained from questionnaires distributed to final-semester students of the Faculty of Economics, Merdeka University, Madiun. The results of the study show that Family's Entrepreneurial Role Model Performance has a positive influence on Attitude toward Entrepreneurial Behavior, University Environment has a positive influence on Attitude toward Entrepreneurial Behavior, Entrepreneurial Barriers have a negative influence on Attitude toward Entrepreneurial Behavior and Attitude toward Entrepreneurial Behavior has a positive influence on Entrepreneurial Intention.
