Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of organizational climate on the performance of employees at the Djatiroto Sugar Factory Plant section with work stressors as intervening variables. This research was conducted at the Djatiroto Sugar Factory which is one of the business units of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XI (Persero). The decline in employee performance is thought to be caused by internal company factors, including a less conducive work atmosphere, less effective communication and company policies that are burdensome to employees. This can be a cause of stress at work. The aim of this research is to determine the direct and indirect influence of organizational climate on the performance of employees at the Djatiroto Sugar Factory Plant section through work stressors as an intervening variable. This research is empirical research with stratified sampling techniques in data collection. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 125 Plant employees at the Djatiroto Sugar Factory. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire results were checked first. After proving that the results are valid and reliable, they will be analyzed using Path Analysis (Path Analysis) of the AMOS 20.0 (Analysis of Moment Structures) program. The results of testing 2 hypotheses (H1 and H2) show that both hypotheses are accepted, namely that organizational climate has a significant effect on employee performance, and organizational climate has a significant effect on employee performance through work stressors.
