Abstract
PT. Jaya Salvage Indonesia (JASALINDO) is a company engaged in the field of salvaging and under-water services. As a diving company, JASALINDO needs a vision, mission, objectives, strategy and action plan (VMOSA) which is a series of forming a business strategy plan as guidance to be able to compete and achieve its vision. In conducting research using a case study approach which aims to apply, test and evaluate a theory applied in solving problems at JASALINDO. By looking at the issues and objectives that have been determined at JASALINDO, it is known that poor service quality is the root of the problem, so the strategy used uses the Six Sigma concept with the DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Improve Control) method and produces policies for the company. The company policy is then translated into an action plan for the related divisions. Therefore, JASALINDO needs a quality planning strategy to solve the root of the problem. Based on the issue along with the vision and mission, the objective for the company is to increase sales and improve service quality. From the company's objectives, it produces a more detailed HSE policy in making risk assessments, operations carry out operational activities by paying attention to established procedures and marketing plays an active role in marketing services. The steps in implementing the policies that have been determined become action plans that guide each relevant division to maximize its functions along with detailed supervision to ensure that the steps determined can be carried out properly and correctly.
