Business Visit 2026

The WEBS 2026 Business Visit is an annual program organized by the Entrepreneur and Business Society (WEBS) Workshop, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. This program provides a platform for WEBS members to gain new insights by learning directly from the industrial world through interactions with companies, business communities, and professional institutions. This activity is designed as a practical learning tool so that members can understand the dynamics of the business world more realistically and comprehensively.
In 2026, the WEBS Organizer Division will hold a Business Visit from April 30 to May 2, 2026, in Jakarta with the theme "Courage to Lead, Knowledge to Sustain." This theme reflects the spirit of encouraging WEBS members to have the courage to lead, be able to adapt to change, and continue to develop knowledge as a provision for building a sustainable business.
Through this activity, participants not only learn business concepts theoretically, but also can see firsthand how companies carry out operations, develop strategies, and face various challenges amidst the increasingly dynamic development of the business world. Direct interaction with industry practitioners is expected to provide a real picture of the decision-making process, innovation, and company management.
During the 2026 Business Visit, participants are scheduled to visit several leading companies in Jakarta, namely PT Arutmin Indonesia, Shopee, and Paragon Technology and Innovation. Through the visit to PT Arutmin Indonesia, participants are expected to understand how the company manages export and import activities and maintains a balance between business activities, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility. Meanwhile, the visit to Shopee will provide insight into the development of digital-based businesses and the use of technology to meet changing market needs. The visit to Paragon Technology and Innovation is expected to demonstrate how innovation, work culture, and human resource management play a vital role in maintaining company growth and sustainability.
In addition to providing a direct learning platform from the industrial world, the WEBS 2026 Business Visit also aligns with the objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically point 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth, which encourages inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and point 17 on Partnership for the Goals, which emphasizes the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and the industrial world.
Overall, the WEBS 2026 Business Visit is expected to broaden WEBS members' horizons regarding real-world business practices, strengthen collaborative relationships with various companies, and provide valuable learning experiences for students in preparing themselves for the world of work or building independent businesses in the future.
