YOUTEX, also known as Youth Excursion, is an annual Asian-based event organized by the International Global Network in Tokyo, Japan. The number of participants participating in the selection process has been increasing year after year. YOUTEX has produced numerous alumni across Asia, with the hope that this activity can increase knowledge and open new perspectives on civilizations in other countries. The theme of YOUTEX 2019 aligns with the goal of this activity, namely, "Enhance the Knowledge of Japan's Advancement and Historical Value.".

Previously, Youtex has been implemented in various countries in Asia such as Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Turkey, Thailand, and Japan. Before being declared as a delegator, prospective delegators must create a motivation letter and within a few days the announcement was announced via email of prospective delegators of Youtex 2019. Rifki Fardian Damanhari and Adimas Yahya Kurniawan from the 2016 class of S1 Management study program succeeded in becoming delegates at the 2019 Youtex event held in Tokyo, Japan.

The Youtex event itself lasted for four days from November 20-23, 2019 and was attended by 75 delegates from various countries in Asia. With the first series of events, namely a welcoming session as a welcome and motivation to ignite the enthusiasm of the delegators and group games to build relationships among delegators. Then the next day continued with university visits conducted at Tokyo University and Waseda University to introduce the universities and inform what scholarships can be taken to study there. The day closed with a city challenge in the Shibuya and Shinjuku areas to explore the culture in Japan. Furthermore, on the last day of the activity, the delegates visited the largest waste management company in Japan called Inceranation Plant, there the delegators learned how the process of waste management from upstream to downstream and provides benefits to the Japanese population. Next, the company visited was Panasonic Center, one of the largest technology companies in Japan, the delegators learned about how an invention can be implemented in everyday life, and finally on the last day of this activity closed with an international symposium and focus group discussion on how to improve technological knowledge and cultural values ​​​​in Japan.

From this Youtex event, the delegation from the Faculty of Economics and Business, universitas Airlangga gained a lot of experience, one of which was building a new perspective on cultural differences between Japan and Indonesia, as well as how technology is collaborated with culture to become a new culture that can answer various problems in a civilization.
