
Management Olympiad 2024 is related to SDGs number 4 (Quality Education) in accordance with the goal of MO 2024, namely instilling a competitive spirit for high school students and equivalent. SDGs number 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) in accordance with the goal of MO 2024 which aims to improve the knowledge and abilities of high school students and equivalent in the field of management science. And SDGs number 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) increases insight and skills for high school students and vocational high school to solve problems in groups/teams. This collaboration is important to achieve common goals in supporting sustainable development. Through this activity, participants are expected to understand the importance of quality education as the main foundation in developing self-competence. In addition, increased knowledge and skills in the field of management will provide strong provisions for them to contribute to sustainable economic growth. The collaboration created between participants and other stakeholders will strengthen their ability to work together to achieve common goals, both in academic and professional contexts in the future.
Management Olympiad 2024 also provides education for students to innovate and be creative in finding solutions to the problems they face, encouraging them to think critically and analytically. Thus, this event not only prepares them for the challenges in the world of work, but also shapes them into future leaders who are able to adapt to global dynamics and contribute positively to the wider community. Registration for Management Olympiad 2024 is open from July 17th to August 20th, with the first stage being the preliminary stage in the form of management questions held on September 29th, 2024, followed by the infographic stage on October 5th-10th, 2024, the semifinal stage of making case study videos according to the theme that will be chosen by the participants, the collection of videos is uploaded via each participant's Instagram and presented offline in the Soepoyo Hall on November 8th, 2024. The final stage is in the form of a debate that will be carried out by 4 teams selected as winners in the semifinal stage and will be held on November 9th, 2024 in the Fadjar Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
