The Indonesian Challenge on Economic Ideas is an annual event organized by the Economic Study and Discussion Forum of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University. The event aims to bring together economics and business students and provide a platform for them to share their ideas and solutions related to current economic issues.

This year's Indonesian Challenge on Economic Ideas carries the theme "Reviving Hope: Fostering Economic Resilience in the Post-Crisis Era." This theme coincides with the momentum of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which is projected to be a new platform for industry, where the majority of industrial activities can be digitized, increasing business efficiency and effectiveness. Therefore, thinking about addressing challenges and opportunities is needed to avoid a return to the crisis.

This agenda has three stages, namely starting with the preliminary round which is selected from various universities in Indonesia and the top 10 are determined to qualify for the final round or presentation stage, then the 5 best teams are determined to compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

The teams that made it to the final round were Gadjah Mada University, Siliwangi University, Universitas Airlangga, Trunojoyo University, Madura University, the University of Indonesia, Sebelas Maret University, and Semarang State University. The final results of the competition were Gadjah Mada University in first place, followed by the University of Indonesia in second place, and the University of Indonesia in third place.
