FEB Competition Club is a Scientific work program of BEM FEB Universitas Airlangga as well as a forum for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga to learn and develop skills in writing, especially writing Scientific Papers. FEB Competition Club (FCC) activities are carried out for one semester with six meetings from March to May. The form of activity of the FEB Competition Club is in the form of training with different topics at each meeting where the presenters themselves come from students from the Faculty of Economics and Business who have achievements in the field of writing.
The first meeting of the FEB Competition Club was held on March 5, 2019, at the Tirtodiningrat Hall. Ananda Olga Ulima from the 2015 Islamic Economics class delivered the speaker. The material discussed included the introduction, understanding, division, and types of writing or forms of scientific papers. This material is crucial as it will serve as the foundation for writing scientific papers.
The second meeting of the FEB Competition Club was held on March 12, 2019, at the Tirtodiningrat Hall. The speaker was Ananda Olga Ulima from the 2015 Islamic Economics class. The material discussed included how to develop ideas for written work, develop strong arguments for the background, and create a background. At this meeting, the speaker encouraged creative ideas from the FCC participants that could later be useful in their writing.
At the third meeting, the FEB Competition Club was held on April 23, 2019, at the Tirtodiningrat Hall. The speaker at the third meeting was Ananda Olga Ulima from Islamic Economics 2015. The material discussed was an explanation of the content of scientific papers in the abstract and chapter I. This material is also an important part in writing a paper, because the abstract will be a reference for whether or not a scientific paper is good.
The fourth meeting of the FEB Competition Club was held on April 30, 2019, at the Tirtodiningrat Hall. The speaker was Raden Roro Widya Ningtyas Soeprajitno from Accounting 2016. The material discussed was an explanation of the content of scientific papers in the theoretical basis section (chapter II).
At the fifth meeting, the FEB Competition Club was held on May 10, 2019 in classroom 203. The speaker at the fifth meeting was Raden Roro Widya Ningtyas Soeprajitno from Accounting 2016. The material discussed was an explanation of the content of scientific papers in the research methods, discussion, and conclusion sections.
At the sixth meeting, the FEB Competition Club was held on May 17, 2019 in classroom 323. The speaker at the sixth meeting was Raden Roro Widya Ningtyas Soeprajitno from Accounting 2016. The material discussed was about presentations and presentation practices.
