Abstract

In the company's business activities, the development of corporate social responsibility is getting bigger and there are additional government regulations that require implementing social and environmental responsibilities. Companies that are obliged to do so are those in the field or related to natural resources, so that this will give rise to a forced and burdened implementation of social and environmental responsibilities. This is related to company culture, which is how the company resolves problems that may arise for stakeholders. This research aims to determine the meaning of the company's CSR implementation in line with the company's business development and the existence of CSR obligations in government regulations so that this understanding will shape the CSR program carried out by the company. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach with an interpretive paradigm. The data collection technique involves direct interviews with informants, namely Directors, Managers and recipients of the company's CSR activities. Since its inception, the company has implemented social responsibility towards employees, this is influenced by the culture and value policies that exist within the company. The company is also responsible for the environment by providing CSR activities to them. The increasing development with the addition of new factories creates social problems so that companies provide more comprehensive CSR activities.
