Abstract

Until now, leasing in Indonesia has been involved in corporate financing. Finance companies have also been able to grow quite impressively so that they require a lot of workers, especially in the sales (marketing) and collection (colassistant professor) departments. This study aims to determine how Work Demand and Work Flexibility can influence Organizational Commitment which ultimately can affect employee performance in the marketing and collection departments. The sample used in this study was marketing and collection staff at PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance regional area 7 (covering branches Surabaya 1, Surabaya 2, Gresik, Mojokerto, Tuban, Madiun, Kediri, and Malang). This study uses a quantitative research method with outer and inner model calculations that include validity and reliability tests, and data analysis is carried out with Smart PLS2.0. The analysis technique used for all hypotheses is Partial Least Square. Tests on marketing and collection staff at PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance regional area 7 resulted in: (1) Work Demand has a significant effect on Organizational Commitment. (2) Work Flexibility has a significant effect on Organizational Commitment. (3) Organizational Commitment has a significant influence on employee performance and mediates the relationship between Work Demand and Work Flexibility on employee performance.
